Pours one shade shy of black with a loose head that dissipates into a bubbly band around the edges. Nose expresses roasted notes, cocoa and artificial sweetener. Taste consistent with nose; however, there's also a cardboard quality to the flavor profile. Mouthfeel is light-medium on body with an even carbonation. All and all, decent; however, the cardboard in the flavor profile killed this beer for me.

I usually have trouble with imperial stouts. Either too sweet or too thick for my palette. This was easy drinking and delicate for an imperial stout. Notes of roasted coffee, chocolate, quite nice
