L - poured near full black with solid one-finger head. Fair lacing.
S - slightly roasty with a bit of cocoa/? chocolate notes.
T - didn’t really deviate from the nose.
F - smooth, medium mouthfeel. Pretty dry finish to it.
O - not as roasty or smoky as I would expect, but not bad at all.

16oz. can served in a willibecker. Pours a deep mahogany brown with ruby highlights at the base. Four finger head is khaki-colored and quickly sizzles and pops as it recedes. Nose expresses cocoa and roast. Taste is fairly dull - consistent with nose but nothing pops and finishes with a hint of char. Mouthfeel is light in body with a lively carbonation. Overall, decent but not my favorite example of the style.

I've had this a number of times and think it's a pretty solid representation of the style. Nice maltiness, slightly leaning to sweet. Has a bit of a chocolate aroma but it's very subtle.
