Pours a slightly hazy golden orange with a finger of foamy head that slowly dissipates to a thin ring with some lacing. Aroma of orange and tropical fruit. Taste follows nose.

 

 

16oz. can served in a Spiegelau tulip. Pours a dull orange with a loose, off-white head that quickly disperses into a slick that clusters around the shoulders. Clarity is a bit murky. Nose expresses hints of orange and passionfruit with just a kiss of pine in the background. Taste consistent with nose; however, there's a candied quality upfront and a slightly medicinal quality at the finish that lingers between quaffs. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body with an assertive carbonation that leaves a light prickle on the front of the tongue. Overall, a nice old school/new school DIPA hybrid. There's some delicate fruit qualities as well some malt in backbone.
