Hazy dark amber with a fuzzy khaki blanket settling to a film.
Toasty cracker pairs with charred chili pepper that brings a mild heat. A lightly bitter grapefruit rind comes out from the light crackly carbonation before finishing semi-dry. At temp, it gives off a distinct jalapeno cheddar biscuit flavor, but I don't get any pineapple.

Having this beer on-tap at the brewery, this beer draws a fairly cloudy, hazy medium golden color with a white head that’s little more than a huge cluster swirl of foam on the beer’s surface. Eventually settles to a thick white ring lining the inside of the glass. Not much lacing unfortunately. Aromas of some biscuity, caramel malt sweetness along with pineapple sweetness and a hint of jalapeños. The taste is pretty much the same, with some biscuity, caramel malt sweetness and pineapple sweetness that gives way to peppery spice from the jalapeños. There’s not much of a heat bite from the peppered upfront, but after some sipping, this flavor really settles on the back of the palate and seems to burn slightly in the background. Has a bit of citrus hop bitterness to add some balance. Has a fairly crisp, yet smooth and slightly frothy, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish with a slightly peppery and dry aftertaste. A good beer here.
