80% Old Ale aged in multiple spirit barrels and back blended w/ Imperial Stout and spices.
A dark brown brew that borders on black. Redolent with brown sugar, plum, cherry and hints of cinnamon. More brown sugar on the tongue along with plum, gum, wood and cinnamon with an earthy finish. Notes of cherry and semi-sweet baking chocolate as it warms. Medium in body with subtle alcohol heat.
Summertime big beer drinking is so rebellious and this beer is so punk rock or maybe even so very Japanese harsh noise.
It also tastes really damn good.
