This one pours a light and mostly clear straw yellow color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like lemon rind funkiness, oak, vanilla, citrus, and hay.
The gin barrel is a great touch here - it adds a fruity and herbal character to a very lemony wild ale base. There's some oak and a touch of white wine, too, along with grassy and fruity funk.
This is light bodied, clean, and very crisp, with a good drinkability to it, and a very smooth finish.
I wish more breweries screwed around with gin barrels - they work really, really well with wild ales.
