Tap pour at the tap room. Served chilled in a taster goblet glass.
Medium amber colored body. Off white colored head, and remains with a bubbly ring. Leaves behind short lacing strings.
Aroma of toasted grain malts.
Taste is sweet and malty. Flavors of grain malts and caramel, with a touch of fruity tea tannins at the end. The aftertaste remains mild.
Medium mouthfeel. Coats the mouth, but has a clean grain finish. Good carbonation.
Sweet, but not too sweet, and good for session work.

Pours a chill-hazed Auburn/Chestnut with a thumb of tan head. Average-ish head retention & lacing
S: Biscuitty malt & brown sugar, nose stays strong
T: Sweet cakey malt, woody hops, toffee & brown sugar, & some roasty grain notes up front. A little dryness, woody hops, brown bread & brown sugar as this beer warms up, some tannic notes, tea-like flavor, along with dark cherry pipe tobacco. Finishes a little dry with brown sugar & toastyness
MF: Light/medium body, slight carbonation, nicely balanced
A ton of flavor delivered here for the ABV; great drinkability
