This is a stout aged in brandy barrels. Pours jet black with tan head. I get a lot of smoke on the nose, along with cherries and port. Also some black licorice. Taste is really nice. Deep brandy and port flavors. Lots of dark fruit dipped in chocolate. Tobacco and coffee are present. Mouthfeel is thick and creamy. Overall, a really nice stout from Freiburg.
