A hazy double IPA made with a blend of 2-row wheat & crystal malt for color. Generously hopped with eight varieties for a dank, herbal aroma with bright floral & citrus notes.

Pours a nice light amber with a white head.
Cinnamon bitter herb hop with earthy notes and sweet and sour candy notes.
Cinnamon, bread, bitter herb and honey with sour greens notes. Interesting but a little muddled.

Pours dark amber, to mid copper, and is murky like sun-brewed iced tea. A big, tight almond foam holds a few minutes, before falling to a thin blanket. This looks more like an unfiltered IPA, than what I expect from a NEIPA. The lacing is decent, leaving a top ring and patchwork below.
The aroma opens sweet, with malty caramel and light apple cider. This is far from what the expectations of a New England IPA. Soapiness is detriment.
The flavor is quite bitter and dull. Again, not of the reported style, although it is certainly an IPA. The finish is long and dull. Iced-tea comes back to mind, this time with a lightly acrid note.
The medium body and flannel texture seems about right. Alcohol is below expectations, though still very much present. Carbonation is a soft afterthought.
As an afternoon beer, with no thought about the beer, this works fine. Jettisoning one's expectations is helpful, and the beer is enjoyable. However, it is far from style, and has nothing special, to offer. I would say this is best enjoyed after yard chores during a mild sunny afternoon.

On tap at Battle Street Brewery in Dansville, NY.
This one pours a super murky and very ugly looking dark orange/brown color, with a small white, and not much lacing.
This leans heavily on the crystal malt, clearly, by the aroma- as this is mostly sweet biscuity stale malt aromas, and basically no hop flavors. This doesn't bode well.
This is basically your classic mediocre 1996 style crystal malt heavy "IPA". I don't like. It's malty, with a kind of stale feel to it, with the only hoppiness coming through as astringency. This needs quite a lot of work. As it warms, the maltiness becomes more just pure sweetness.
This is medium bodied, underattenuated, and not all that pleasant to drink, with a typical level of carbonation, I suppose.
This is really quite bad. There's nothing that went right here.
