Belgian Golden Quad.

Aged on cherries so it’s slightly spicy, very cherry reminiscent of cherries jubilee and cherry pie.

On tap at the brewery. Typical quad notes of dark fruit, Belgian candi sugar, and Belgian yeast esters (clove mostly), with a big hit of fresh red cherries. Nice bright fruit that works nicely with the base beer. Tasty.

Note this seems more like a Belgian strong ale, and either way is not like a typical Quad. Rated with brewery intent and misappropriated style in mind.

Slightly hazed golden body with no head shortly after pour.

Tripel-like sweetness with candied fruit, banana esters/flavor and cherry that strengthens w/warmth.

Feel is slightly hot, with a nice warming feel. A decent beer, though not if you expect a regular quad. Probably a 3.8-3.9 ignoring style, but there’s much less resemblance to typical quads than other styles.
