Even though it is referred to as a "Cerveca Negra", pours a murky brown coloration with a small fizzy head. I'm not sure if this is really supposed to be a Brown Ale, but I will give it the benefit of the doubt. Smells faintly of roasted malts, caramel and coffee. Taste follows the nose, with a light to medium, slightly watery body and high carbonation. Slight bitterness. If judging this in the context of beer available on La Palma, add at least +1.
