Light haze to the straw color. The moderate head never dissappears and leaves ample large spots and wide streaks on the glass.
The smell is creamy with a soft pale malt start. The hop is gentle and floral. Nicely balanced.
The malt is brief and quickly overwhelmed with some straight-up bitterness. The body is neutral with the carbonation being elevated. What is most note worthy is the very strong alcohol presence in the swallow. This lingers, along with the stronger hop through the moderate-length aftertaste. Repeated tastes lessen the powerful effect of the alcohol/hop combo but it never goes away.

VERY sweet. Really doesn’t taste like a DIPA. A bit malty, not that hoppy. The smell isn’t great. Drinkable for sure, but nothing too unique or impressive. Leaves a slightly unpleasant aftertaste (could just be me).

Hard to believe this is an IPA, much less a DIPA. Sweet, almost like a marzen. Drinkable, but not what you might expect.
