Initial head is at least four-fingers thick. It slowly recedes leaving a wide, 3D ring of lace on top. The subsequent streaks are wide and plentiful but flatter. The liquid has a brownish cloudiness to the neutral amber color.
Clean smell with a touch of grain. The weak hop aroma comes across as spicy.
The malt portion beginning is smooth and rich. The body matches with ample carbonation. The hop is brings a light, black pepper bitterness. There's some yeast bite that I feel really enhances the complexity. The combination is pleasant but not extreme in any way.
