Pours a handsome clear golden amber with plenty of foam in the Chimay chalice. Aromatic with lemon and peach. Interesting mix of flavors. It's fruity and piney with a grapefruit peel finish. Starts with a modest sweetness and Malty taste and a substantial body, along with plenty of spritz on the tongue.
Hops are listed as Citra and Amarillo. Citrus, wood, bark, and a dark finish. The aftertaste is quite bitter, though in the old-school tradition. From the 16 oz can purchased from Blind Lady Alehouse.
