Northern Pine Brewery

Pours a dark orange amber with adequate foam in the Trapistes Rochefort chalice. Sprightly mouthfeel with a malty body. Aromatic with roasted grain and a whiff of hay. Taste is warm and malty. There's a dose of bitterness in the aftertaste to keep it from being too sweet. A nice balance and very flavorful. Maybe the slightly rustic taste, but eminently quaffable. Here is another excellent Märzen-style brew that I would put in the Oktoberfest category. From the 32 oz growler filled at the Oceanside brewery.
