just my second beer from these guys and its a nice clean drinking west coast ipa, good bitterness, nice hop complexion, not overly dry hoppy, and getting a lot from the pale barley its built on, simple in a good way, well refined and very nicely packaged, sharp looking pint cans. just a little malt color to it, fine clarity, and an average white head on it, somewhat unassuming, smells like spicy northwestern high alpha hops, some bite for sure, but also subtle stone fruit, clean lemon, and minerality, light brass or even copper character but it isnt oxidation, and maybe some lime coming on late lightening it a little. the flavor shows a little breadiness from the grain through much of it, some amount of classic dankness for what it is, but its not over the top weedy or anything, some pine, grapefruit, more lemon, and early onset bitterness, very nice flow to it, and its a beer that maybe isnt radical but will definitely appeal to a wide range of ipa fans, very california to me, a compliment. i like it leaning grassy and spicy rather than fruity at the end and as it warms, a nice change of pace from the juicy bombs that are trending. tasty beer all around, medium bodied but pretty drinkable still with good carbonation, i am eager for more from solid ground after this.

16oz can from Pints n Wine. Bright golden pour, small frothy head. Rich malty Aroma with a touch of citrusy hops. Taste is a balance of caramel malts and fruity, piney hops. Full feel. Well rounded.

Very tasty West Coast ipa! Well balanced, not too bitter (hoppy). New favorite.
