A: The beer is very dark brown in color (black when viewed from afar). It poured with a quarter finger high dense tan head that died down but never completely faded away and consistently left a short head covering the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of fruity coffee beans are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the flavors of coffee beans are a bit stronger and there are also notes of chocolate malts and a light to moderate amount of bitterness. Flavors of roasted malts are present in the finish and linger into the aftertaste.
M: It feels just about medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is a pleasant coffee porter and does a good job at showcasing the fruity aromas and flavors of the beans.
