I live very nearby this brewery and when i was there about half a year ago i bought this one.
There are some beers of this brewer which really surprised me because of their quality. This is one of them.
Poured in my Struise glass this beers starts good with a nice lightbrown head and a darkbrown fluid. The head is gone after a short while, almost no lacing.
Good smell of burned malts and some spices like koriander.
Taste is ok, some salmiak and almost no sweetness. Taste a rather flat for a dubbel but it makes the beer very drinkable.

BB end 06. Hardly any foam comming up and collapsing fastly. Dark brown, almost black beer. Nose is in the beginning baly smelling like a bad alley with lots of garbage/carbage, soon disappeared and then you get some good maltyness( chocolate, amber, cara, munich and pilsner according label) But somehow unfresh and this time more barnflavour like. Not that bad overal but certainly not stylelike. Aftertaste is low bittered with litle roast. Misses just some fullness and freshness.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
