16oz undated can.
Pours cloudy dark gold with a half-inch head of white. Moderate retention and lacing. Fresh honey-drizzled dough in the nose. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Doughy malt on the palate with minimal bitterness. Finishes a bit sweet with some lingering malt.

Lots to enjoy about this one, and it's an interesting take on the style for sure. My only small complaint would be the toastiness of the malt approaches an almost smoked flavor. Comes through in the nose as well. This may very well be intended. Regardless, it works, and this is a tasty beer!
EDIT: by the bottom of the glass, I was loving the smokey component. bump for taste.

On tap at the source
Comes to the table a dark amber color with a decent sized off white head that slowly recedes. Toasty bready crackery maltiness with a bit or earthy floral to counter.
