Our visit was on Saturday afternoon, Labor Day weekend. The weather was outstanding , and the Beer Garden large and was lively. There were smoker/barbecues being tended to that smelled wonderful. Inside there was a raw bar with an attendant shelling oysters. The carving station was quite busy.
Unfortunately we had just eaten a few hours before, and just wanted some beer.
We opted to sit at the bar inside, the employees were all attentive and friendly. The beer selection was excellent, as was the quality.
I believe I counted 20 taps behind the bar, not sure if all of them were pouring at the time, but hinted at the capacity the place could handle. The amount of table seating inside was very adequate.
They have a fridge full of to-go beer, including singles, 4-packs, and make your own verity 4-pack. I noticed some dart boards as well.
This place is less than an hour from home, I wish it was a little closer. We definitely would go back.

My new favorite local brewery! Cool place, very friendly, super chill. Great beer. They have a home-brew shop too, and are very helpful. Did I mention great beer?
Only reason not full marks on selection is they have a tendency to run out of my favorites.

26 Aug 2022 Update - With the addition of live music on Friday evening (single musician on acoustic guitar), an outside seating space, full menu and cool merchandise, this place has definitely stepped up their game since I wrote my initial review in 2018. It has become one of my go to places in Hartford Co., MD. Stopped in on my way home from BWI after spending a week in the Tacoma, WA area. I felt I had arrived home. ‘Normal’ people, no bingo and no one wearing a face mask. - end of update.
Stopped in on a Tuesday night during Harford County restaurant week. There were about a dozen or so people, either at the bar or sitting at one of the half dozen tables for four. It’s a single large open room with the bar along one side, tables in the middle and a comfortable looking couch by a modular fireplace at the far end from the entrance. Located across the street from Looney’s sports bar and sharing a common parking area with Bel Air Liquors. The bar seats about a dozen with a single server working behind it. A blackboard behind the bar lists their current offerings of about 8 beers on draft. Beers were generally $5 for a 12oz pour, $6 for a 16oz pour, slightly more for the higher abv offerings and $8 for a flight of four 5oz samples. Growlers to go we’re $10 for 32oz, $14 for a 64oz unless otherwise indicated on the blackboard. Snacks available were limited to bags of popcorn and beef jerky, but ordering in from local area restaurants was encouraged. I had a 16 pour of the Rye Ale, which I really liked, a sampler that included the Cream Ale, Pale Ale, DIPA and the Coffee Milk Stout. All were solid beers, but the Pale Ale stood out for me. Finished with the Belgian Dubbel. All their beers are produced on a one barrel set up in a separate room. Service was friendly and the crowd & music were mellow. This is a welcome addition to the downtown Bel Air area and I will certainly go back again.
