Writing the first review for this beer that I had back in July at the source as part of a flight. Twas a beautiful cool 64 degrees, such a nice respite from the 100 degree days I was dealing with at home.
Pours golden yellow, definitely lacking clarity, but its not ugly homebrew shit, still plenty attractive looking. 1/2" white head. The aroma is pretty sawft, the lager yeast is tame, the hopping is traditionally tame noble/noble like stuff. Its not bad, but you know, I dig me some skunky yeast.
The taste is similarly restrained, but again, no off flavors for this beer or brewery. Competent. Light biscuit grain approach. Back end mouth feel is light, dry and crispy. Carbonation is right.
This beer didn't do anything wrong and is better than average. I could see getting a crowler of it next summer if available.
