1st review of this beer on BA. Picked it up at the source on a cool summer day. They are one of those places with a tip jar. Greed or charity, your call. There was a paranoid schizophrenic-esque dude being super loud outside the outdoor drinking area. Dat Richmond ambience.
Pours a hazy yellow. 1/3" white head. The aroma hits with a bright tropical guava down under hop influence. Smells pretty nice. Has that Amarillo/El Dorado sunny hay ride smell as well.
Taste keeps the good tropical mango and guava vibes going. Its easy to drink and tastes good. Light sweetness and indoor grown weed feel, tempered bitterness, but plenty of hop flavors still pushing the minimal sweet tropical notes and the light sunny lemongrass hay aspects. Doesn't get watery or trubby because of the flaked wheat/oat bill, pretty well done mouth feel for a hazy ipa. Light pineapple influx without the "pine" if you will. Carbonation seemed good. Cans held up to around the 100 day mark.
Wait is BA not giving you a word count anymore on reviews?

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
