Another one from the flight in July, but they were doing some 2 for crowler kind of special, so this one jumped into a crowler as well. What can you deduce from that? I liked it. Anyhoo, despite drinking this 6 months ago, I just uploaded the beer into the database. I'm going to go ahead and write a review for it because I'm not a total sociopath.
Pours golden yellow light amber and familiar. 1/3" white head. Cloudy, neither hazy nor providing clarity. They didn't disclose the hops, but the smell is definitely weed, onion and garlic dankness along the lines of a down under hop crossbred with Summit.
Taste is good. Keeps that weed + Summit profile. Its actually the best part of the beer. Even better than in the aroma. Its not over the top with anything, its a good cruising pale ale not trying to be an ipa. Mouth feel isn't really dry, which makes sense given the hop like notes, they just don't translate to dryness. Still enjoyable and aptly carbonated. Minimal malt bill also plays out well execution wise. Good beer, great name.
