Single can purchase. Berkeley Bowl. Their beers are ok but their bromide takes are a bit much. Nonetheless, it looks like I'm writing the first review of this beer here at this Next Glass owned website. You're welcome.
Pours as a hazy ipa does. Its hazy. 1/3" white head. Contrary to the commercial tug job over on Untappd, this beer was underwhelming as Strata hops go. There were no Nelson like notes, it hit more like the old C hop regime, so partial credit to the tugjob over there. I'm just here doin' my thing, soakin' up the day, watchin' em all roll by. The base is flavorless, the hops are starting to come into their own as you get down can (its not downbottle). Mouthfeel is nice, pillowy, probably the best thing about this one.
The taste improves, but its still not really going forward like a smash Strata beer. Just doesn't really define itself, comes across more like a hodgepodge of Idaho 7 and other hops.
