Dark honey colored body, crystal clear; sparse carbonation; thin yet lasting and creamy head; patchy sheets of foam hang down the glass. Fine aroma, primarily dark toasted grain with a touch of sweetness. Fine malt flavor; toasted cereal grain; slight nuttiness; a bit of spiciness; light to moderate hop bitterness. Medium-light body; crisp; mild warmth.
A nice roasty / toasty ale.
Pouring temperature: 43 °F; canning data: unknown

16oz can from Tavour. Pour is dark amber, clear, small bubbly head. Light toasted malts aroma, nutty, woody. Taste is nutty, malty with a tiny amount of bitter ess and an exceptionally smooth body. Need more of this style in this country.

Poured from an undated can into a mason jar with two-plus fingers worth of frothy, tan-white head that transitions to thick lacing with a solid white rim as you drink. Aromas of baked pretzel and bran muffin. Taste is clean, biscuity, medium bodied, on point for an alt-bier style. Well balanced and executed - picking this up is definitely a “good idea”.
