Collaboration with Forbidden Root Brewing Company
When in Rome 11% Imperial Milk Stout inspired by Coconut Tiramisu!
Forbidden Root came down to brew this sweet treat. Thick and rich base stout with espresso, cocoa nibs, and coconut for a tasty-take on one of our favorite desserts. Sweet and decadent, but with some nice heavy espresso notes to balance.

Look: First beer I ever had with absolutely NO head whatsoever. I even tried a very aggressive pour to no avail. The color of strong black coffee.
Smell and Taste: Chocolate, coconut and espresso. Extremely sweet.
Feel: Flat and syrupy. Not sure if that's typical of this brew. Never had it before and found no reviews on BA. At 8 oz. I'm not so sure even the 11.0 % ABV could improve on the feel . . . 16 oz. maybe.
Overall: Glad I chose to drink this one after dinner. Definitely a desert beverage. Put it in a bigger can, add some carbonation to it and the score would improve. I'll be moving on now.
