I have been looking forward to having this beer for a long time, finally got around to it today - it was a bit of a let down.
The packaging implies dessert beer all-the-way - picture of an Andes Candies piece and descriptions of a stout flavored with mint - sounded good, until I tried it. The look is weird with the bubbling on the surface - quite alarming really, but the smell is scrumptious - a perfectly blended scent of mints and roast and booze. Speaking of the booze - it is all booze-forward on the taste, muting the mint or making the flavor of mint just plain weird. It's not a bad beer, it's definitely not a dessert beer, but if you looking for a small boozy bomb (and you don't care about the taste, really) then this is your gig...
