Painted Peak Brewing Company

 

Wow! If you are in Southwest Virginia this is a must stop! The selection was great, around 12-14 beers, 5 IPAs, 5 Stouts/Porters, a red, cream, brown, amber, and a few more. The service was top notch and the vibe was very laid back and welcoming. I'm a hop head, so I went with the IPAs and my brother is a stout man. Their IPAs are the best I've had at any brewery I've been to, I have been to 12 or so, War Paint is fantastic, very tropical and flavorful for a 6% IPA, they have a few imperials as well that are awesome. My brother loved their imperial Stouts, they had 2 imperial stouts when we were there. Their food was AMAZING! I had the GOAT burger with fries, goat cheese, bacon, and cranberry chutney WOW!. Maybe the best burger I have ever ate, for real. The beer prices were ok, $5-6 for a 12oz, the food prices were not bad, the burger and fries was $12. They have live music on the weekends, I was there during the week so not sure how the music and night scene would be, but I'm sure it would be just as good as their beer and food. If your in the area check out Painted Peak, you won't regret it!
