Enjoyed this this evening at beer district’s brewpub in Nice, this is a cracking little beer, the addition of basil is so cool, at first you think it might overwhelm the beer, but it really does work, it imparts a lovely herbal, floral, and somewhat citrusy flavour into the beer which compliments the blackcurrant, sourness, and saltiness of the beer very well, sweet but not too sweet, everything well balanced, no real bitterness to report, medium in body with medium to high carbonation, makes for very easy drinking, wouldn’t think it’s as high in ABV as it is, all in all a very enjoyable and unique offering from these guys
