On tap at the brewery
This is a dark brown pouring beer. The head is tan in color. There is some lacing on the glass.
The nose had a nice roasted malt aroma and hints of coffee.
Taste - this is a malty beer. I am getting a lot of roasted malt flavors. I get some chocolate, and coffee. Faint caramel notes come in to play. Slight bitterness on the back.
The body is full and smooth.
Tasty oatmeal stout.

On tap in a curvy wheat beer glass in downtown New Bern.
Dark chocolate brown with a thin tan film of a cap. Some waves of lacing.
Smells like a malted milk chocolate shake.
Roasted malt to an almost mineral like burn flavor. Nutty and oats.
Thin feel with light carbonation. No sign of oats as an enhancer.
Looks and aroma are ok then it drops off.

Drinking this at The Brewery 99 in New Bern NC.
From a tap poured into a pint glass.
Appears brownish, almost black, with a nice tan head.
Smells malty, chocolatey, vanilla
Taste follows the nose.
Mouth feel is medium plus for the style.
A very nice stout that I would definitely order again.
