Sudden Death is located in an industrial area a couple of kilometres outside of Lübeck. It's a large space, high ceilings, very airy, with the brewhouse to the right and bar and seating to the left. Plenty of seating both outside and inside. Vibe is relaxed and friendly.
Selection is good, about 19 taps with good variety of both Sudden Death beers and guests. Quality is high, both the beer and the presentation.
The food is terrific, with one of the best pizzas I've had in a while.
And the thing that made me come back for three consecutive night: the service. Super friendly, chatty, funny and very interested about the customer. Every single employee I talked to, servers, bartenders and brewers were a delight and made every visit feel like a treat.
Overall, an outstanding place for beer, food and laughs. A must visit in Lübeck!
