Bog Brewing Company

Small storefront brewery with a dedicated food truck, in an old brick building that was once a drug store, on the west side of town. L-shaped bar opposite the entrance to the right seats about 10 with some tables about the room and on the back patio. 14 beers on tap. Friendly bartender.

Vibe: Excellent. Quiet place if you don’t like crowds, I find it very nice.

Quality: Amazing, place is very well kept, a small place but the beer kegs they brew their beers in have a nice touch, and their beers are amazing.

Service: Good, standard go to the bar and order place

Selection: Changes often, amazing selection, your bound to find one you like.

 

Great place to enjoy a solid variety of local brews. Their classic IPA has always been my favorite. Had some friends in town just last weekend. We enjoyed the smoked datil & cream ales on a nice day outside in their picnic table area. Great location just a few blocks from downtown St. Augustine.

V - Very quaint and cozy. Has a somewhat factory style to it, and can see where they ferment their beers as well as age them in cask for the some beers that they do that to.

Q - Every beer I've had from them was good, all brewed in house by the owner/brew-master.

Ser - Service was good and friendly, and did not have to wait long at all, very speedy.

Sel - Good selection but being a nano-brewery not that many. But what they made up for quantity of beers they had in different varieties of beers.

V - The inside is pretty dark, but not a bad place. Quite small.

Q - The beer is pretty good. Nothing crazy good, but none of what I tried was bad.

Ser. - The service is good. The woman who helped me choose beer was helpful and nice. Usually not much of a line, so getting a beer is quite easy.

Sel. - Not a lot of beers on tap, but that makes sense since this is a small brewery. They made up for this slightly by having multiple kinds of beer, some of which I had not had elsewhere.
