L: deep dark brown under a 3" tan cap with good persistence
S: cherry wood smoke aromas play well with the roast malts accenting the mild chocolate and coffee aromas
T: rich and malty featuring traces of debittered coffee, caramel and chocolate. Smokey bacon flavors are at a complementary level and do not overpower the black ale character
F: very creamy with a medium plus body and medium carbonation
O: delightful, very drinkable beer has enough smoke to have an impact but not enough to overpower the base beer
