Venn Strata Hazy IPA. 7% ABV.
Venn Brewing, Minneapolis, MN.
Is the craze for haze goes on for days...years, even. As long as that's all anyone's brewing, I guess I've got to keep drinking them.
Hazy (as per the crazy for days-y), bright golden-ish hue, slim ivory head.
In the nose: Citrus galore, bold, bitter, beautiful. Fresh and lovely. Lemon and grapefruit, with a touch of tropical, too.
In the mouth: Decidedly dry, just a bit bitter, turning briefly into sweet and juicy. Bone dry, at times. Is this a "Brut" hazy IPA? Just enough juiciness, just enough a tangy, bitter bite to keep it all active and fun.
I like this one. Drank that crowler down in no time.
Hazy, juicy, tropical.
A hazy style IPA featuring Strata hops.
Malts: Domestic Pale, White Wheat, Flaked Oats.
Hops: Strata.
Yeast: British Ale.
