Venn’s take on a traditional German Märzen
Malts: Vienna, Pilsner, Munich II, CaraMunich II
Hops: Warrior, Hallertauer Mittelfrüh, Tettnanger
Yeast: German Lager

Put on your lederhosen, polish your polka shoes, and ready your taste buds. Our Venn Fest is a beer of celebration-zippy, zesty, more malty than hoppy, and complemented nicely by a pretzel necklace. It's crisp. It's clean. It's wonderfully warming. It's an old-world beer made for the modern-day drinker. Prost!

Flavor: flavors of rich bread, some caramel, some sweet cream notes off the finish. Mildly toasted and lean sweet. (3.75)

Compared to Luce Line Schnapsidee 9/2023: Pours lighter, milder aromas. More buttermilk and cream. Less toasted caramel and bread malts.

Crowler can. Label has fill date of '8.49.21'. Label is marked ABV% as 6%.
Clear, pale amber colored body. Two fingers of white expanding head, finally settles back to thick cap. Leaves spots of lacing.
Aroma is toasted malts, reminds me of chewy bread.
Taste is toasted malts, with a caramel hint. Minimal hops but herbal in expression. Quick trail off in the aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel. Clean and crisp texture. Very good carbonation.
Very good fest beer, with no off putting aftertastes. Good for a session.
