Appearance: Pours a largely hazy (40% clarity) light golden yellow color with a massive white head. SRM of 5-6. (4.25)
Aroma: Strong aromas of lemon citrus, sweet bread, malts, clove and coriander, floral notes. (4.00)
Flavor: Strong flavors of lemon citrus, floral, lemon, followed by a slight lemon spice and pepper note. Pale malts with more lemon sweetness on the finish. (4.00)
Feel: Medium body, strong, carbonation, finishes, clean, and hoppy and dry. (4.00)
Compared to Weihenstephaner St. Bernardus Braupakt 6/2024: Pours lighter, milder aromas. More lemon citrus. Less Belgina spices, clove, coriander, and bread.
Overall: A DDH witbier with Citra hops. Tons of lemon, nice touch of Belgian flower and coriander. Clean finish. This is very enjoyable. First try at a DDH witbier but it works well here. (Rating: 4.07)
