6/16/23 Friday afternoon visit to the Wooly Pig establishment.
Look is slightly hazy, yellow. Much cling to the lacing.
Aroma.... Leah is not getting any coffee notes, surprising.
Taste.... Absolute coffee! What a surprise. It's like taking a sip of cold brew that finishes like a pilsner. High bitter, clean finish

I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a five sample flight. It poured a slightly hazy golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had subtle grain, coffee, and wheat notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with grain, coffee, and subtle corn husk presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Pale gold with a thickly dense, creamy and level white head settling to a persistent blanket leaving spongy lacing all up and down the glass.
The aroma is seductively inviting and comforting of earthy, almost chocolatey coffee with swirls of vanilla accented by a touch of lemon peel and a dash of cracked pepper.
The light body has a super fluffy froth delivering a superbly delicious brew that has a nice bite to it. This almost seems like a bit of stinging alcohol at first, but it quickly becomes apparent to be the hop punch that exhibits that cracked black pepper I found in the nose. This then smooths out into vanilla latte, again as on the nose, accented by lemon peel with a little barnyard straw.
I'm still unsure whether that last note comes from the malt or their yeast, but it absolutely is the touch that brings it all together in a lovely way, making it all the more crushable.

At the brewery in a nice Pokal glass.
Pours a straw color with a yellow hue. Thick white head with good retention.
The coffee flavor is very subtle, just enough to tickle the palate.
Very enjoyable, I liked it a lot.

Fine golden body topped with a thick, frothy head. Mild coffee aroma. Taste is classic German pilsner infused with a light coffee note. Medium body; creamy texture.
Damn fine...

When you get coffee beer, you typically expect a dark heavier beer. This is very light on the pallette and definitely can taste the coffee beans. Overall it is one the best coffee beers I've had. No complaints. 5 of 5

Small four oz pour in a taster.
A: Light gold/yellow body looked like decent carbonation soapy head.
S: Lots of coffee and mostly that is all I got maybe a little floral from the hops.
T: Lots of roasted coffee, almost to the point you couldn't taste anything else finished a little sour with an off floral taste.
M: Carbonation was there almost too much so body was medium.
O: The coffee overwhelmed the beer to the point all you could tell was you were drinking a coffee drink. The after taste was slightly off putting.
