6/16/23, Anniversary trip to Ohio. Back to Baltic, well, just outside of Baltic, at the brewery, such a lovely location on the farm!
Very pink. Aroma is sweet fruit and vomit. I hate to say that, but that's what I smell.
It's a sour, but not a good one. Couldn't finish it. The underlying sour is really good, but there's something, perhaps in the lacto bacillus, that's not favoring my palate. Gone bad?

Foggy pale salmon with a creamy off-white head quickly dying to an uneven collar leaving behind some mild branching lacing.
Sweeter and more tart than the base, and also with less funk, this one tastes more like Spree.
Again comparing this to the base, it's a little thinner due to those herbal cranberry tannins, while finishing chewy dry as a result.

4 oz pour on tap into taster. The one I had was fruited with cranberry, and had ginger and hibiscus in it.
A: Medium red body with good clarity looked a little darker than cocktail juice, not much of a head to speak of but it was a small pour.
S: Overwhelming ginger and hibiscus and a light fruited smell that i couldn't quite figure out. The combination of the hibiscus and ginger almost gave it a medicinal smell.
T: The ginger hits you right up front followed closed by a perfumeyalmost honeysuckle taste/smell and then just a hint if fart fruit cherry? berry? plum? Can't quite make it out and then a slow lingering return of ginger. The beer finises with a nice light salinity.
M: Light, clean, crisp and with a refreshing finish from the saltiness without tasting salt itself.
O: I think there is a solid gose here hidden underneath some unnecessary spices. I'd be very excited to try just the base beer. However, this one i would never have guessed was cranberry unless I was told, and the ginger was too heavy handed.
