The ultimate in savory beer; bacon and campfire notes from the smoked malt waft over a drinkable, malty base.

Clear dark amber with a short white head that retains as a fine film and curled collar with a perfect cling all around the edge.
Oh my god that's delicious. It's a straight campfire but in a wonderfully round, smooth, chuggable body accompanied by sweet graham and corn elements that really complement the mild smoke before finishing just barely powder dry.
It's as if the smoke is sharpened and refined into a very uniquely quaffable expression not often found in rauchbiers on this side of the pond.

On draft at the brewery on release day.
It smells and tastes fairly smoky, like a drink that sat beside the camp fire with a smoked ham to bacon flavor. While never overpowering, it also is there all the way through and after an entire 1/2 L the base never really comes through. The body is a solid medium. Would guess it to be more like 7%.

Mildly hazy, honey-orange color with a thin yet lasting head. Not a lot of aroma; basically some estery notes. Bombshell taste; smoked ham and bacon. Medium body; smooth and slick.
Decent looks, so-so smell, outstanding flavor.
