The first in our German-style Weiß beer series, light but complex with hints of banana bread and lemons.

Poured from their familiar snub nosed bottle, the body pours a lightly hazy yellow with white fluffy head. Medium lacing.

Aroma is the expected by style light clove and banana. Taste follows nose with the flavors stepped up a bit. I had this one on tap a couple of weeks ago and the bottled version has a bit more yeasty goodness: more banana/bubble gum and hazier.

Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation.

6/16/23 Friday afternoon visit to the Wooly Pig establishment!

They just tapped this on the 15th! Fresh!

Brewer notes this is light but complex with hints of banana bread and lemon. Spot on description.

Adequate lacing, little head.

Nice and cloudy look.

Lemon and banana notes in aroma.

Not as clove/banana centered as i prefer, but this is a nice light hefe for sure!

Hazy pale straw with a tall white head settling to a super thick blanket retaining as if merengue with doily waves under chunky arms rising up on the glass after a tilt.

The yeast is subtle, but certainly brings spiced pear and banana alongside a delicate wheat base delivered by a satisfyingly round, lightly fluffy body finishing cleanly semi-dry with a mild herbal bitterness.
