Under a thick tan head of wavy but fine foam, this appears a little more clear and red relative to the rye dunkel next to it, though still slightly hazy, edging it closer to a darker amber.

Exceptionally clean, semisweet and mildly malty of leafy nuttiness, a pleasant froth guides us to a nondescript tang shortly thereafter. Perhaps as it warms there's the faintest hint of smoke on the nose, while the tang develops a bit like pear and walnut.
