L- Quite a rich amber colour, pours clear with a thin cap of white foam.
S- Mild toasty grains.
T- A gentle hoppy dryness, then after a moment some rounded bready malts appear on the scene. The two aspects are more parallel after the first sip (this is my first beer tonight).
F- Medium dry. Carbonation in the mouth is good. At 3.7% this is one of the lowest ABV beers I've had in a pretty long while...
O- ... but despite that it doesn't come over as 'thin'. The bready malts and quite bright hops join to build on the modest ABV. It's certainly more enjoyable than I was anticipating. It's trad, it's sessionable. Could make a versatile lunchtime beer.
BB: 22/09/2021/ 500ml bottle bought from BestOfBritishBeer. ps. Has elegantly designed labelling on the bottle.

Bought cheaply as short dated stock from my local co-op.
Slightly hazy golden orange. No head to speak of.
Malty aroma with light pepper.
Not much flavour. Caramel and weak hops. A hint of cooked apple.
Quite watery. Smooth and soft.
Might be good on a summers day but not in February.
Even at £1.25 a bottle I would not buy this again.
