I have yet to read the can, so this is blind...
L- Superficially almost black, it reminds me of Coke but has a red note and some haze with a halogen lamp behind. Pours with a brief thin cap.
S- Sweet edge, lactose? Some cocoa too (FWIW I'm badly congested this pm impacting here and Taste).
T- ABV% note is clear, toffee is pretty big. There is also a brief somewhat intense deep note. My palate is too blunted to divine further.
F- It's clearly some thumper of a brew. Carbonation remains good in the mouth. It's a winter-warmer kind of beer.
O- Something a bit different, I just wish I didn't get winter nasal congestion! It's power is clearly on view but it works well vs pungency/richness so overall it seems well balanced. As it warms it is sweetening somewhat so I'm glad I started it off chilled as best I don't linger here. Vanilla could be coming in now, there is a perfumed/aromatic note on my palate. Nice to try. Perhaps getting a bit sweet for me to wish to drink again.
Bought from TremblingMadness/York as part of a DIY picked home-delivery of 40-50 beers. 440ml can BB 20/10/2021.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
