Notes from May visit to The Cross Keys, Halifax, UK
On cask:
Slightly hazy, deep gold on the glass with a creamy white head. Lacy. Smells of citrus as expected. Citra and cascade in this English ale. Grapefruit in the mouth, softer mouthfeel. Found out it is brewed with wheat and oatmeal so that made sense.
Good stuff, would definitely try again. Straight out of Leeds, not sure how far they distribute.
