On tap at Bear Naked Growler, Montpelier, Vermont.
The appearance was a nice looking pulled hazy orange to amber color with a thin cap of a little white foamy head. Slid off at a nice pace to leave some mild filmy lace sliding into some spider webs at it warmed.
The aroma had a nice blend of sweet grassy and mild citrusy hops laying down on a clean sweet cracker malt.
The flavor mirrored the aroma fairly nice, keeping it fairly sweet all around; all of that cracker clean malt and grassy sweet hops just meld very nicely. The aftertaste kept to the cracker malt and a tickle of grassy to citrusy sweet hops.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine, somewhat mild. ABV felt as projected by the brewer. Mild sweet malt and sweet hops in the finish.
Overall, I liked this one for me. I could tell it was well brewed, but I'm not so sure many hopheads are going to want to drink gallons of this.
