Amber Ox Public House is a restaurant in Williamsburg. When I visited they offered 10 beers from Precarious Beer Project as well as wine and mixed drinks. They did offer cans to go. We enjoyed the beers and brunch was nice as well. Brunch seems to be popular.

Cool little spot in Williamsburg. Food is excellent overall. I have had quite a bit from their menu and enjoyed everything I have had. Service has always been good to great. Cleanliness has always been top notch. The beer selection has been varied and unique. Place has always been quite busy when I have gotten there and I never really had any issue with timing or food and drinks coming out. Packaged beer and growlers to go. Good selection of wine and interesting cocktails as well. Whenever we go up to Williamsburg I always wind up here and I have enjoyed it every time.

Precarious Beer Project is perfectly located in Williamsburg, VA. Great vibe and a wide selection of beer. The Electric Circus Taco Bar food is not traditional, but is very good. Chips and dip are yummy.

Food is great. Nice selection. Normally have 12 of their own beers on tap with 12 more from other craft breweries. Bartenders are attentive and mix good cocktails. Also have a good selection of local distilled spirits,

Food quality is great, beer quality is even better. Definitely the vibe and service of a bar more than a brewery, but if you're in the area great spot for dinner

This isn't a bad place at all and beer wise I really enjoyed my time. It's the other facets of your typical brewpub visit that made this disappointing (or at least detracted from overall experience). Sat at the bar late Saturday afternoon and decent crowd but not crowded; yet somehow the bartenders kept congregating on the other side of the bar that I was on which resulted in long wait times for beer. The other complaint I have is not the food quality, for its good, but the food price as you will pay a lot for above average food but then again you're in Williamsburg tourist section so you might as well know you're going to pay out the nose.

Edited after a few visits.
New place where I'll definitely return. Brews beer on site, looked like a 5 barrel system. Brew area is visible but separate from the bar/dining areas.
Of the beer they brewed that was on tap, all were to style, two were quite good (Rubber vs. Glue DIPA and Country Brunch Stout were both impressive, especially for out-of-the-gate brews). One early IPA wasn't to my liking but wasn't bad and the Pils was nice but just a pils. Since then though they've put out what's easily the best NE IPA in the area. I've gone back for it multiple times and will keep going if they keep up the quality brews.
They also have about 12 guest taps, mostly VA beers but some nice beers on hand from places I like to see (Ocelot, Bench Top etc.). Good selection and I like that it's a small enough list that they'll turn over the taps quickly (hopefully).
Food is good. It is not cheap but it is a big step up from typical brewpub food. They have simple offerings and some that are a bit more out there but everything I've had was very tasty.
Service was off on my first visit because it was a soft open for lunch. Since then the staff has been very friendly and the brewer has taken the time to talk with us a good bit. Very excited about what he has planned and very happy to have him in the area.
It's in a touristy part of town and there is no shortage of good beer on tap within that 1/2 mile stretch, but this place has good food, brews their own beer and seems to do a good job of it so far, has plenty of guest taps, and does craft cocktails. Seems like it could please most folks.
