16 oz can
Pours hazy golden, white head retains as a bit of lacing.
Aroma of various botanicals like the advertised juniper and spruce, lemon lime citrus, cracker malts, and vanilla.
Flavor is of juniper, spruce, biscuit, vanilla, lime, citrus zest, grapefruit, and maybe a bit of hop, and ginger.
Medium body, tingling carbonation on the tongue.
First and foremost, this is not an IPA by any stretch of the imagination, I don't know why it's classed as such and IPA isn't even in the name. This is a cocktail sour. As that, it's quite good. I really like the mix of botanicals and the vanilla works surprisingly well. Certainly not for everyone, but I will gladly have more of these. It's advertised as a gin mule inspired beer and I definitely get that.
