Double milk stout brewed with maple syrup, Madagascar vanilla bean, and Intelligentsia Coffee Burundi Yandaro coffee.
Our double milk stout with maple, coffee, and vanilla is the breakfast table companion you never knew you needed. We have refined our stout base over and over again this year, arriving at a more viscous, rich beer with textural heft and layers upon layers of caramel and chocolate flavor with a reduced roast component. Still solidly a stout, but balanced more towards yum than char.

Milk stout for sure big sweetness sugar coated low roast but it does have a nice aspect of coffee roast that balances the sweetness. Medium bodied thick and creamy a sipper but smooth. I have had better coffee stouts for sure but for 3 bucks this beer is mighty tasty!

Yum! This is not called an imperial, but I can't imagine why. Nicely heavy and sweet, but that sweetness is nicely balanced overall. Top quality brew for sure!

16 oz can
Pours opaque black, dark tan film for a head.
Aroma is coffee, cocoa, vanilla, molasses, toffee, pecan, cinnamon, and anise.
Flavor is coffee, vanilla, chocolate, maple, ginger snap, cinnamon toast, pecan pie and oak.
Full viscous body, stinging carbonation on the roof of the mouth.
Very rich and decadent, slow-drinking, thick and heavy. A wonderful treat, not quite a dessert beer but obviously on the sweet side with a large amount of flavor. Will have again and looking forward to future batches. Would love to see how this tastes after a few years of cellaring.
