These people need to hire someone else to name their beers.
On tap at the brewery, where it was billed as a "tartshake IPA," which I take to mean it is thick and sour.
The beer pours an unnerving blood-red, very thick with minimal fizz. This is how wine looks in cartoons.
Smells surprisingly tame, but interesting enough: tobacco and dry hops with light nodes of berries. Not very tart, and not nearly as aggressive as the pour led me to anticipate.
Tastes pretty darn good, but a bit muted: dark chocolate and raspberries up front, charred barley in the middle, and a lightly tart finish.
A tasty and interesting beer.

16 oz can
Pours hazy berry pink. White head.
Aroma of citrus, fresh berry, sourdough bread makt and zest.
Tastes of citrus, fresh berry, bready malt, zest and herbal hop.
Medium body, tingly carbonation on the tongue.
Decent fruited IPA, light on the hops. Drinks pretty easy. Worth trying.
