Italian-style pilsner brewed with Adriatic pilsner malt and dry-hopped with the noble hop Tettnang.
This beer is our not-so-subtle homage to the pilsner that changed everything, Tipopils by Birrificio Italiano. We adore that flavorful, refreshing, and eminently balanced beverage so, so much and we've missed drinking it over the past year. Easy fix: dial up a thirty-barrel batch of Spundo, sit back, dry hop, wait, wait, wait, and wait some more, then enjoy over and over again. We love how the herbal black tea and perfumy lemon profile of German Tettnang hops fills the nooks and crannies of the Italian-grown pilsner malt. This is not just an over-hopped indulgence, but an exercise of simplicity, balance, and restraint.

Light golden color with a thin head and little lacing.
Light on the aroma. What is there is not very stimulating.
The flavor is much more complex and satisfying. A great floral and citrus mixture lightly balanced with noble hops.
Easy drinking. An overall mid-range pilsner.

Clear bubbly gold with a sudsy thin white cap and moderate lacing. Aromas of citrus hops, grass, grains, and a hint of rubber, odd. Taste is much improved, hopped grains and biscuit with grassy and a kiss of pine in the finish. Very bright and light, hops are the leading formative force, malts next. But not very crisp and as it warms it starts to get a little watery. A forgettable pils

16 oz can
Pours clear light golden. White lacing for a head.
Smells of cereal grains and hints of citrus and grassy elements.
Tastes of lemongrass and mild cereal malts. Slight dry hop finish.
Light body, tingly carbonation on the tongue.
Highly drinkable and inoffensive. Not especially interesting but I don't think it's trying to be, so very good as just a basic drinkable lager. Good session beer.
